Concepts
This product soaks up the oil with a bacteria-infused sponge. The sponge is dragged around the ocean by a drone to prevent machinery malfunctions. We would also make the sponge out of eco-friendly materials.
This product works like a skimming device to gather oil from the surface of the water, but since it is a sponge, it soaks up oil as well. The sponge is dragged by a boat, similar to a skimmer. The bacteria would be in the sponge, and the sponge would be made of reusable materials.
In this product, some of the bacteria will come off the sponge and go into the water to eat the oil, while the sponge also soaks up the oil. It will be dropped off by a boat and left in the water until it is picked up again. We will make it out of biodegradable materials.
